Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church

Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church is a community of believers who place our trust and confidence in God as our ultimate provider and sustainer. We believe that through faith in Him, every spiritual and natural need can be met according to His will. By grounding ourselves in the truth of God’s Word, we are strengthened in our faith, encouraged in times of difficulty, and guided in our daily walk with Christ.

Our mission is to faithfully proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ—the message of salvation, hope, and redemption—to all people. As followers of Christ, we are committed to serving one another with love and humility within the body of Christ, while also extending that same love and compassion to our community, our families, and our friends. We believe that ministry is not confined to the walls of the church but is lived out daily through acts of service, kindness, and spiritual encouragement.

Through the consistent teaching and preaching of the Word of God, we seek to build strong disciples who are rooted in faith and equipped to live according to God’s purpose. The Word of God serves as our foundation, inspiring us to grow spiritually, walk in obedience, and reflect the character of Christ in our everyday lives.

We are guided by the Great Commission found in
Matthew 28:19, where Jesus commands His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This calling motivates us to evangelize, teach, mentor, and nurture believers so that they may grow in their relationship with Christ and become witnesses of His grace.
