Pastor Marques E. Lewis is the son of the Rev. Malcom E. Lewis and Marilyn D. Newkirk. He was born June 11th, 1987 in Wilmington, NC, and was raised in Burgaw, NC. He is a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Burgaw, NC, where he served as musician and as an associate minister. He is a Graduate of Pender High School in Burgaw NC, and he is an alumnus Fayetteville State University.

On July 20th 2019, he married the love of his life Lady Dominique K. Lewis. To this union they are blessed with one daughter Lauryn Olivia. Together they share a life of love, he often lets the world know she is his, and he is hers!

Rev. Lewis started serving God at a young age as church drummer then the Lord led him to the organ and piano. He served as musician for numerous churches and church functions.

In September 2012 during fall revival, He submitted to the will of the Lord and answered the call into the Ministry of Preaching. He was licensed to preach the Gospel on March 3rd, 2013 and Ordained on June 27th, 2014 By the Union Chapel MBC and The Kenansville Eastern Missionary Baptist Association (KEMBA),

He currently serves a Senior Pastor to THE Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Kinston NC, were the Lord Leads and we follow! He also currently serves as the Eastern Union Vice President of the Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association.

Pastor Lewis’ Greatest Accomplishments in life was surrendering his all to God and serving Him.
